Mold Damage – Dallas Home
Mold damage at this Dallas home began with a leaky pipe within the wall in the photo. The area was obscured with a large wardrobe cabinet and wasn’t noticed until the musty odor of mold and mildew was detected. Once examined it was determined that an area of approximately 100 square feet had been affected. We removed the baseboards and the damaged drywall and other portions of drywall which allowed us to dry and treat pockets of mold within the walls. We cleaned the mold and set up industrial air movers and dehumidifiers to aid in the drying process. Then we treated the affected area with an antimicrobial substance to inhibit any future mold growth. New drywall was put in place, and the baseboard was replaced.
